Nars Yeux Irresistible Palette

Nars Palette

Nars Yeux Irresistible Palette is a limited edition palette from the spring 2015 Eye Opening Act collection, which certainly is eye opening. Francois Nars challenges the perception of beauty by introducing Tilda Swinton, now 54, as the new face of Nars to showcase the collection. Veering away from the conventional ‘beauty’ makeup looks, bringing out more of her art-house personality with this eye-catching look featuring edgy lash lines, cheekbone contouring coupled with  paired down eyebrows and lips.

The new collection will include 2 eye shadow palettes, eye shadow sticks and a multiple. I was lucky enough that in Australia, when I popped into Mecca Cosmetica, I spotted the Yeux Irresistible Palette which instantly drew me in with its combination of colours along with the poster of Tilda to match.
Now of course, I am not displaying the ethereal beauty that Tilda is, but I have slapped on some Nars Yeux Irresistable and detailed my makeup look below.
Nars Yeux Irresistible Palette
All About Eve – colourwash from lash to brow
Colombo – applied over mobile eyelid
Jezebel – blended through the crease as a transition shade and applied on the lower lash line
Thunderball – blended through the crease and outer corner
Mix of Thunderball and Coconut Grove applied as a liner on the upper lash line and lightly along the outer 3rd of the lower lashline.

To complete the look, I have used my favourite Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla under the eyes and around the nose along with my favourite Nars blusher in Exhibit A lightly applied over apples on cheeks.
